<li>Phonemic Awareness: The initial three activities in Pup’s Quest for Phonics concentrate on fostering fundamental phonemic awareness skills. Guided by Professor Pup, each lesson introduces the target sound with captivating animations and music. In the Sound Farm activity, children engage in identifying images associated with the lesson’s focal phoneme.</li>
<li>Sound-to-Letter Phonics: Leveraging handwriting recognition software, Pup’s Quest for Phonics instructs on the grapheme corresponding to the targeted phoneme. Emphasis is placed on accurate letter formation and establishing connections between phonemes and graphemes. Subsequently, children blend these elements to construct and interpret words. Correct word readings prompt positive reinforcement through visual aids or videos reinforcing vocabulary expansion. Incorrect readings trigger immediate corrective feedback and support in blending phonemes.</li>
<li>Really Reading: Through a structured approach, each lesson in Pup’s Quest for Phonics equips students to tackle new sentences within captivating narratives. Children record themselves reading story lines and are rewarded as these lines animate to progress the plot. In instances of word unfamiliarity or struggles, our patented Sound Buddies functionality offers support by enabling access to individual sounds or blended pronunciation.</li>
